Walks and Windmills
This is a lovely little area, perfect for romancing couples, chattery old boys and families with children of all ages to stroll around. There are hours worth of walks to be had, meandering along beside the wandering rivers and streams. There are bridges to go crabbing off and windmills galore. Take a camera if you do go because the scenery is as quintessentially East Anglian as you’ll ever see. As far as I’m aware, none of the windmills are in use, but they give some depth to the very pretty but very flat geography that is typical of this part of England. I have wonderful memories from my childhood of swimming and floating in inflatable dinghy’s through this tranquil area. [more] |
