If you ask me, Mardin is the most poetic city of South Eastern Turkey. As two young women and travelers we have made one of the best travels we have ever made by visiting Mardin. in the spring of 2007
With its amazing architectural style, archeological values and rich history Mardin gives you the impression that the time has just stopped there. As it is actually in the Silk Road region it has been the place where many religious beliefs and different cultures have lived together in a peaceful atmosphere.
