Visiting Egidir
Egidir is located inland in the middle of Turkey nearer the south, probably about 8 hours on a bus from Capadoccia. I stopped at Egidir as I was traveling about in Turkey and I hate spending long lengths of time on a bus so decided to take a break from the road in Egidir. Egidir boasts the largest lake in Turkey and when the bus was driving into Egidir I momentarily forgot it was a lake and presumed it was the sea! There are some great views to be had in Egidir and the waves in the lake a huge, bigger than in the sea! There are also pedalo's and water sports available.
