Royal Swedish road
Some years ago I’ve done the exhausting bike tour “The Royal Road” which was starting outside of Saint-Petersburg and ending in Norway. It was a ten days trip following the Swedish historical track. Many centuries ago the part of the territory of Greater Saint-Petersburg (or Leningradsky Region) belonged to Swedish Empire. There are many castles and fortifications around Saint-Petersburg and Vyborg. The Royal Road was connecting all this places in 15th century.
