The Shanghai Inn
As its name suggests, the Shanghai Inn is set in the heart of Bangkok’s Chinatown area, and although from the outside the establishment looks rather modest, it has in fact joined the ranks of other high class boutique hotels in the city. So much so that my stay there was a pleasant surprise on all counts. From the modern and classy décor to the high quality facilities such as free high speed wi-fi and onsite Thai and Chinese restaurants, I remained impressed during my entire time there. The location of the hotel was right in the middle of the Yarawat area, a place that is popular with Chinese tourists, and one which offers many attractions including the busy China town markets. Connection to other parts of Bangkok was quick as I found this location was still quite central. A thumbs up all round! [more] |
