Vila Vita Parc, Porches, Portugal
With its lush lawns, pools and many palm trees, this is a very picturesque resort. Its a good base to explore the spectacular Algarve area from. But for me the absolute biggest highlight of this place was stumbling across a small, enclosed beach right in front of the hotel. Its not visible from the hotel though, so follow the pathways. It really is very pretty with high orange cliffs giving it a feeling of a hideout. The water wasn't too cold either. The hotel itself comes highly rated too - my room had a door leading out to a patio that gave a spectacular view over the hotel's grounds. The restaurants are also impressive. [more] |
