Odeonplatz is a large pedestrian square on the north side of Munich’s central old town. The square is flanked on the East side by the Residenz museum, on the South side by the Feldherrnhalle, and on the West side by the Theatinerkirche. This square is very famous for that there are many open air classical concerts and many other cultural events every year. Heading north from this square takes you to Ludwigstraße, through Triumphant, to Leopoldstraße, a very well-known street in Munich. This is almost my favourite street in Munich. From the Triumphant, you can see all the big trees on both sides along the street. This is also a perfect place to take a good walk from Karlsplatz to Marienplatz then to Odeonplatz, through the Triumphant to Leopoldstraße and finally reach Münchner Freiheit. On both sides of Leopoldstraße, there are a lot of options for you to find a place to eat or have a drink with your friends or partners. Come and check this place out, you will love it too.
