Church in the City
The Basilica of Bonn as it is now known is one of the oldest churches in Germany. It is a truly beautiful church from the outside with so much history held within, i really couldn't wait to get in there. Although it has many lovely pieces like The Organ, The crossing Alter, The Cloister and the Apse Mosaic - it wasn't quite as wondrous as i expected although the very large bronze statue of St Helen is defiantly something to take a look at!! its very peaceful like all churches and it certainly carries that certain atmosphere that is connected to churches, i enjoyed my visit even though it wasn't quite what i expected.
