Musee de la Mer
The Musee de la Mer is one of Biarritz's best tourist attractions. There are so many different kinds of fish in the exhibtions including a big, big shark! It's also nautical museum, there are exhibtions upstairs dedicated to the history of boats etc. in France. That bit is only moderately interesting. The seals are probably the best attraction- we missed feedig time unfortunately- but you can observe them from below and see them above water, on the rocks. The cafe is actually one of the highlights, not because of the food or drink, but due to the amazing views from the exterior. There is a gorgeous view of the sea and the rolling greenery below.
