Playa Las Villas
Playa las Villas is another beach that I have been to and spent a few happy hours sunbathing and swimming on. This beach is between El Mojon and Torre de la Horadada. This is another quiet resort in my opinion, which I like very much. The beach is a nice fine and clean sand going into a turquoise colour sea, which is also very clean and nice for swimming in. This beach has got a handful of children’s playing and climbing apparatus, it is a perfect beach for families. If you like busy noisy resorts, do not come here, it is quiet, which is the way I like it. There is a nice footpath walk above this beach and access is via a few specifically placed ramps. There are quite a few holiday houses in the area, but what I have found about this coastal part of Spain is that a lot of house is owned by Spanish, who only come to the coast during July and August. It is a very busy area then, all other times of the year it is rather quieter. There are also the usual café’s and bars and ice cream kiosks within easy reach. [more] |
