Imperia, Konstanz

4.0 stars

Imperia is a large wooden statue on the coast of Bodensee in Konstanz. It revolves around its axis for about a minute or two, so when you look at it for a second time you are surprised to see that it looks in another direction. It looks a little bit strange - its strange art-style makes Imperia look a little bit like a sculpture of a Goddess from some long ago forgotten cult or religion. Thus it is quite unique and really starts to become a symbol of Konstanz, although I didn't like the sculpture very much. [more ]
