Frauenkirche Church
The Frauenkirche was reconstructed and it looks really nice from the outside, inside is still incomplete. It’s expensive to get inside or to attend a concert. I recommend to eat in the Restaurants right next to it, especially at night because you are in the middle of the whole movement in Dresden, right in the heart. The church was rebuilt after the destruction in WWII after several efforts to put everything together and raising the money through donations. There are combinations of new and old stones, that’s why you will see some black stones. Its not the best church on earth but it’s a symbol of the city and a must visit. [more] |
