Amazing!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Duomo Cathedral -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have to say, I wasn't ready for exactly how amazing the Duomo Cathedral actually was! I had read some things in a guidebook about the fact that it took around 300 years to complete and was a complete mix of styles, but i really dominates the city from air and land. Unfortunately we weren't able to get onto the roof (may be closed in rainy/windy weekends in Winter?) but the architecture inside was amazing and even just looking at it from the outside was good enough. I fell Duomo dominates Milan like the Colloseum dominates Rome (it's everywhere you go!). [more] |
