Pasqualati-Haus
There's something really fun about going to houses that weren't owned by composers, rather used as crash pads or pool houses thanks to owners who were far better off financially and who fancied the idea of putting up a creative-type. Toll doesn't even begin to describe it. Enter Pasqualatihaus, the home of Josef Benedikt Baron Pasqualati and frequent crash pad for Ludwig van Beethoven, the Jim Morrison of his time with some serious talent that would get cranked out of this house. In addition to standing in the room where the maestro worked on his 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th symphonies, not to mention his only opera (Fidelio), you can find in this house on Mölker Bastei some great portraits, scores, and maybe an empty (yet historic) bottle of lager or two.
