Rodin Museum
For anyone interested in sculpture or simply wanting to spend a fun afternoon without spending all their money, the Rodin Museum is a great find. A ticket to the garden only is €1, and with 25 different sculptures, a marble stature gallery, as well as beautiful grounds, this was my choice of how to spend my afternoon. A couple of friends and I packed a lunch which we ate in the garden, before wandering around to the different sculptures on display. Obviously you have to see The Thinker if you visit the garden, but I would also recommend the Gates of Hell and the Burghers of Calais as other noteworthy sculptures. If you would also like to visit the indoor museum, the combined ticket is about €6, which is still a good deal. [more] |

Musee Rodin
If you are into Museums and Art, in particular sculptures, then I would recommend you go to see the Musee Rudins which is just around the corner from Musee D’Orsay. If you are interested in doing both it costs only 12 euro. Augustus Rudins is famous for “The Kiss” and “The Thinker” and “The Gates from Hell”. His museum is a manor house set in a garden which is really wonderful to walk around and is such a nice change than being constantly indoors. You can also have a bite to eat at the café in the garden which is really reasonable for Paris. It was one of my favourite museums and is a change from doing the Louvre which would take you all day.
