Stan Hywett Hall and Gardens
One of the most beautiful mansions in Akron, Ohio is the Stan Hywett Hall and Gardens. It is considered to be one of the finest examples of Tudor Revival Architecture in the entire United States. It has approximately sixty-fives rooms and each room is elegantly decorated with things from all over the world. It is open to the public and it is a fun place to go if you like to see beauty and elegance. I like to go there in the winter time. Especially during the holidays because they have holiday decorations from around the world. It is also nice to go to in the spring because of the gardens. There is a beautiful Japanese garden, an English garden, and a lagoon. The grounds are simply beautiful with all of the flowers during the spring time. When you are in Akron, Ohio, I highly recommend a visit to Stan Hywett Hall and Gardens. [more] |
