Barcelona port
Barcelona port is another hub nub of activity mostly because at the port all of the luxury cruise liners that dock here for the tourists to have a look around Barcelona. What is interesting and worth while to check out are the docks and shipyards that date back to medieval times that will give you an interesting glimpse into how the area used to look before and how important the port of Barcelona actually was. Here you can find the Maritime Museum, but also check out the fishing area, you cannot miss it as your landmark should be the clock tower and a small fisherman's market. Near by is the Columbus monument also worth checking out, but you can also think about taking a boat ride on one of the golondrinas to get the perspective of the city from the sea. [more] |

The discos in Barcelona
The discos in Barcelona fascinated me from the first time I saw the euphoric atmosphere they were creating. Twenty night-clubs and discos located one near the other were surrounding the whole Olympic Port and were enlightening the area with the phosphorescent lights and house music. I liked that very much because you can’t find such a thing in Vietnam. It seemed like a disco mall where I had a large variety of dancing clubs to choose from. All the young people seemed to be fashion addicted because they were wearing pieces of the latest collections of Dolce&Gabanna, Prada, Gas and other brands, famous in the whole world. I enjoyed a lot that invasion of life, music and energy that was found throughout the entire Barcelona. [more] |
