Thintank, Birmingham Science Museum
Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum, is a modern museum in Birmingham, just outside the city centre. I have been to this museum, with my grandson. There are 4 floors to explore. They have interactive displays, where children and adults alike, can press, touch, push, all sorts of gadgets, to learn about things in everyday use. There is a floor of historic motor vehicles and steam engines. There is a section dedicated to the human body, the list is endless. Also within Thinktank, there is an IMAX cinema, where they show 3D movies. We went to see a film about Dinosaurs, and it really seemed that they were flying out of the screen, straight at you, very scary! They also have a Planetarium, within the complex.
