Cologne’s chocolate museum (Imhoff-Schokoladen-Museum)
Cologne’s chocolate museum, officially called Imhoff-Schokoladen-Museum, is a fun experience for all ages. The museum goes through the 3,000 year history of chocolate, the types of chocolate today, and how chocolate is made. The museum is quite extensive, showing you all the steps that go into making that stuff you love, and at the end of course they have all kinds of chocolate for sale. The building is located right on the Rhine River and even the building looks impressive. Everyone I’ve talked to that has gone to the chocolate museum in Cologne has been impressed, so if it’s German chocolate you are after, this is where I would start. [more] |
