Great National Museum
Suomen Kansallismuseo or Finish National Museum in Helsinki is one of the most impressive national museums I've ever been too. The building itself is beautiful. The architect did a great job! Inside the exposition is created in a very logical way. Almost everywhere there is information and signs in English so you don't need to puzzle your brain trying to understand what are you actually looking at. Visit to this museum gives the idea of Finish history and development from early ages till our days. We have spent about 4 hours there and still didn't manage to see everything. They have lots of archaeological, anthropological and ethnographic artifacts: metal, textile, clothes, photos, art, old computers and mobile phones, computer games...hard to name everything. [more] |
