Salzburg Baroque Museum
Salzburg Baroque Museum is located at Mirabellplatz 3.
Technically Salzburg Baroque museum is located in what used to the Orangery of the Mirabell palace. It was located here since 1973. It is definitely worth the visit not only for the magnificent surroundings but also because here you can find a great collection of drawings from 17th and 18th century. It was a private collection of the Rossacher family and it was donated to the city of Salzburg under the condition that it was available to be seen by the public. Some of the drawings on display include works by Bernini, Tiepolo, Rubens and Corona.
Opening hours are Tuesdays to Sundays from 10:00am until 5:00pm, while the price of admission is €4.50. [more]
