Baroque St. Clemens
This tiny chapel is easily overlooked: it is located on one of the main shopping streets, hiding away between stores and parks. Nevertheless it is possibly the most spectacular church in Münster, at least judging by the interior. It´s all gold and marble, cupid sticking his butt out the wall and the impressive organ overlooking the whole scenery. You can usually get in, but sometimes the gate seperating the entrance area from the main bit is locked. You can still see it in full, though, it is that small. Be respectful and don´t interrupt wedding ceremonies, please, tourists have been known to do that and you don´t wanna anger the locals... Salzstr. [more] |
