Picasso Museum
Maybe the most important tourist attraction in town is the museum dedicated to Picasso. The museum si very new. It was built about 4 years ago and hosts around 150 works of Picasso. The famous artist was born in Malaga, so his daughter sold these paintings at a rather cheap price, so they could built a museum in her father’s native town. The museum lies in a very nice and old area of the town. It has a permanent area and another area for exhibitions. The entrance fee costs 8 Euro, but there are discounts for students and children. I loved the museum and was happy to see so many drawings, sketches and even finished paintings of one of world’s famous artists. [more] |
