Zócalo, Mexico City

4.0 stars

Exhorbitantly Overpriced 2nd largest square in the world

Like any other central square in big touristic cities the Zocalo(Market)officially known as Constitution Square was full with street musicians and dancers, people selling all sorts of stuff, and convenient touristic terrace restaurants. This square was one of the second largest in the world but wasn´t my favorite place in Mexico. We came here on our way to the Palacio Nacional. Around the square there were fantastic building and churches. Restaurants here also had exhorbitant prices so we did not eat here. This square is great for taking a few pictures and enjoy a drink but anything else is overpriced. [more ]
