Mühlerama
Mühlerama is located at Seefeldstrasse 231 (take trams number 2 or 4 to Wildbachstrasse). Mühlerama is somewhat specific as it is located in what once was a flour mill and old brewery. Over the recent years the complex has seen opening over a number of news shops and galleries, theater of the performing arts and a number of restaurants. In the museum you can see some of the original stone mills that were used for the process of milling. There is also a smaller version that will show you how exactly both flour and bread are made from scratch. I also find quite interesting the part of the collection that shows how the spices used to be ground and the history of spices which will give you an idea how your favorite spices were used over the centuries. Opening hours are from Tuesday to Saturday from 2:00pm until 5:00pm; Sundays from 10:00am until 5:00pm; closed on Mondays. [more] |
