As per my previous review I wouldn't recommend a stop in Bharatpur, having said that if you are passing through then one of the nicer places to stay is:

At the time I visited (Dec 2007) there were roadworks everywhere and it was impossible to walk anywhere!!

Unless you are a kenn bird watcher I wouldn't receommend a stop in Bharatpur. There's nothing really here apart from KEOLADEO GHANA NATIONAL PARK.

It is a nice place to take a break from the hectic cities and you can hire bikes at the gate if you fancy a bit of excercise. They also have two people cycle rickshaws with drivers if you fancy a more relaxed tour.

I saw a few deer and some turtles here but ultimately it wouldn't be enough for me to recommend it as a tourist stop.
