Indianapolis Children's Museum
This museum is nationally known for its world-class exhibits. It features an incredible glass sculpture work by the famous sculptor Dale Chihuly and a larger than life glass water clock. The great thing about this museum is that there is something to fascinate kids and adults everywhere, not just in separate rooms or areas. The hallways are filled with displays too. There is an Egyptian section, a section focused on archaeology, a working carousel, a world showcase, and so much more to see. You’ll need a whole day to get the full experience. Kids will love everything about this museum, it’s entertaining for all their senses and they are allowed to touch everything, which is rare in a museum of any kind. The revolving exhibits are always fascinating too, they’ve had everything from sharks to Muppets. I don’t even have kids yet, and I always love visiting the museum. But it’s not free, so visit their website first and plan to pay.
