Monaco Cathedral
The cathedral of Monaco is a big building in the Neo-Romanesque style, built in the late 19-th century to serve the newly created diocese of Monaco. The building having two small towers is very nice and only its new building materials show that it is not actually an older church. The interior is also very nice and has a wonderful calm atmosphere. To the left of the main nave there are the graves of Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace, the parents of the current Prince of Monaco. [more] |
