Brown bears in the Yosemite Park stars

The Yosemite National Park is located in the densely wooded north of California. You can reach the various waterfalls by hiking trails (good hiking boots are recommended). The sometimes long walking distances to the end of the trails are really worthwhile, although probably not really convenient for families with small children. But you can also reach various viewpoints by car. One of our personal highlight was driving through the eastern hills of the park, where we brown bear crossed the street in front of our car and then watched us driving by. [more]
