Harrods is a shopping extravaganza! I hope no-one would ever be put off going by the owner (the controversial Mohammed Al-Fayed) because you don't even need to buy anything to enjoy the institution that is Harrods. A word of advice, don't go to Harrods just after Christmas if you want to avoid...

Harrods It's a huge department store in Knightsbridge, London, owned by well-known Egyptian businessman Mohammed Al Fayed.
The store occupies a four and a half acre site and has over one million square feet of selling space in over 330 departments selling luxury items.

Although I am from London I have only ever been in Harrods once, its absolutely huge and there is a dress code to get in! You have to have a skirt on and no torn jeans (if I remember correctly) Harrods sells everything you can think of and the food section is vast with so much to choose from...
