A National Science and History Museum
This museum has a little bit of everything for everyone…a little bit of science…a little bit of history…even some art. Many of the exhibits highlight objects that are related to both Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula region (Door County). It is a great education tool for those wanting to learn more about the area. The museum is only two floors, and is free to the public (there is a donation box). This is not the most hyped or noted museum. But it is definitely worth a few hours of anyone’s time. They often bring in special exhibits and have done a great job with displaying them, focusing on dinosaurs, Egyptian tombs, and the Ice Age in the past. [more] |
