Day 22 - Yet More Road
The drive up the West Coast of New Zealand is both exciting and boring. The scenery is just so beautiful that you start to take it for granted - "Oh, another unbelievably gorgeous mountain", "Oh look, another mindblowingly pristine lake", "Ho hum, another glorious beach devoid of people". I stopped for lunch at Hokitika, a small town that - like most small towns I passed through - offered hot tea and great pies. Also at Hokitika I found a showroom of greenstone carvings.
