Asia Elbview I checked out a new place in Altona the other day, it's an Asian restaurant called Buddha's Kitchen, and it's right smack bang on the water front. It's all tandoori, lemon grass, saté, and some really good Chop Suey. The prices are not really budget, you pay an average €10 or so for a main course, but they have a lunch menu for €6 including a soup, which is quite alright for this city. The service is nice and attentive, and the interior is simple. Try the honey banana for desert, it's delicious. You can get there by subway or S-Bahn, stations Altona or Königsstrasse, then just work your way down to the river. [more]
