Take your children for a swim

If you are visiting Coogee Beach with children, go to the South end – there is a salt water pool with sand bottom and a stone wall blocking off the waves and forming a nice little area for the youngest kids to play in. The water there gets quite warm and your children will have plenty of company.

My son is usually scared of waves. I took him to Coogee today and for the first time in his life, he headed straight to the water without holding on to my hand. I am so proud of him and I am pleased I finally found a place where he feels confident in the sea. [more ]
