To Die-For Desserts at Antonio's
Although Antonio's named after its ingenious chef, is known to a few as the fine dining place in Tagaytay City--and of course they say the suckling pig is the best ever for parties. When I was there what made the meal was actually the dessert selection! The pricey but totally worth it set menu you order including an entree and salad gives you choices of any of the desserts on hand that day. Among ladies in our group, we decided to do the girly thing and share desserts. One picked the "Dark Chocolate Souffles with Cardamom Creme Anglaise" while the other took "Antonio's Chocolate Cake with Orange Caramel Sauce." Antonio's for Memorable, Delicate Food!
A famed secret among urbanites wanting a break from the city, this fine dining restaurant is a joy to visit! Located in Baraggay Neogan in Tagaytay City, Chef Antonio Escalante who runs the dining establishment has combined the charm of a country home with fabulous continental food and fresh ingredients! A known family and dating place, entering the restaurant seems to be entering a grand family home with a garden that spills into the house. Though definitely pricey affair, the food is superb. Three girl friends and I tucked away quite a lot to spend here. But the seafood, the pasta and the prime rib were just breathtaking!
