Better than average
Southwestern food is one of those cuisines that can mean pretty much whatever, you can make it up as you go along, but it also leaves a lot of room for creativity. Nava pushes that creative license to the maximum, with mixed results. Some dishes we ordered were unusually good, and others were just unusual (read: weird). The drinks were a highlight; they have a selection of margaritas that were wonderfully mixed and beautifully presented. I had a fish entree that was very tasty but nothing special; my friends had some more strangely-concocted meals, with various degrees of success. We liked it, but we didn't love it. [more] |
