Palace Cineplex
Palace Cineplex is the second of Kingston's cinemas. Unlike Carib which has five theatres, Palace Cineplex has only two. There are usually less movies to choose from but the advantage is that it is smaller and more intimate. The beauty about this cinema is the location is very convenient. Located in the Sovereign Centre, one of the city’s nicest malls, it is possible to plan a day of shopping, spa treatments and long lunches before seeing an afternoon movie. Generally movies are at 5 and 8pm, and on Sundays there is sometimes a 3pm matinee for children. The cost is JA$480 for Adults and JA$250 for children (that’s about Euro 4,8 and 2,5 respectively).
