When I booked this hotel, I choose it because it was well priced and the reviews were not too bad. I stayed here for two nights, the room was very basic and very small with a view of a brick wall, the lace curtains were very dirty with a cigarette burn holes in them. The Hotel was clean, friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was good, but offered a limited selection.. The wallpaper was cracking, the refrigerator in the room did not work, there was holes in carpet with faded design, inside was appalling, but really nice to look from the outside. The location was very central to local and train travel. I was very happy with the location, convenient for Victoria theatres, very central and close to restaurants, trains, buses etc. Overall, a not so good experience for a hotel in a huge, expensive major city, I wouldn't stay here again.
