Pizza and Beer, You Can’t Go Wrong with that Combination
Beaver Street Brewery has one of the best pizzas in the area. Particularly tasty is the Beaver Street pizza…made with roasted-garlic pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, and goat cheese…delicious. There weren’t that many people there when I visited over Christmas, but the hostess said this place is usually packed with college students, so you may want to expect a wait. But this gives you an opportunity to try some of their fantastic micro-brews made right within the facility. I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate oatmeal stout. Actually, it was probably the best oatmeal stout I’ve ever had. I was absolutely impressed. And when you leave, take some beer-to-go. [more] |
