A Shopping Center inside the State University
So you live near the University of the Philippines, and you need a one-stop shop that has everything your student-like life ever desires? Then Diliman Shopping Center (SC) is for you. Just a reminder, this is not a mall. It's a one-stop shop for everyone. Formerly known as Dilimall, SC houses various commercial establishments catering to the basic needs of students, faculty members, and employees. These establishments include fast food joints, computer shops, RTWs, hair salons, bookbinding and photocopying venues, a bookstore, a souvenir shop, a drugstore, photo-developing places, a bank, a grocery store, and many more. On the other hand, although everything seems to be available in there, alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited. This shopping center does not sell such drinks for one reason: it’s inside the campus. Well, at least the mini-mall has not stopped selling cigarettes to some of the students’ joy. Overall, SC is a place you’d visit not just because it’s interesting, but because it has almost everything you could possibly need. As for me, I call it a cultural melting pot. Oh before I forget, in case nature calls, don’t worry; SC has comfort rooms. But before you go to the comfort room, make sure you have some coins in your pocket.
