A Sizzling Experience
Have you tasted the most delicious sisig in town? Well, you don’t need to go any farther. Down at Taft Avenue, right beside the De La Salle University, you will find Kaibigan. This word means “a friend.” By the way, sisig is a Filipino way of cooking ground pork, chicken, or tuna mixed with egg and seasoned with lemon and soy sauce. This kind of food is normally served on a sizzling plate. So, you’ll know that your sisig is coming because you can smell the sizzle of lemon even at far. The best thing about this food is that you’re the one who mix everything—from the egg to the seasonings—and you’ll even see the raw egg being cooked on the sizzling plate. Oh, I just love doing that! Apart from sisig, Kaibigan offers a lot of home-made dishes. All these dishes are equally delighting and cheap. Yes, the price needs to be cheap since most customers of this restaurant are students who keep on coming back for more. I bet you’ll feel the same way once you’ve tried this place out.
