Casa Leopoldo
One of the restaurant experiences that I remember most about Barcelona is the one at Casa Leopoldo and it was not because of the food. I am not saying that this restaurant was bad, because it wasn’t, I am just saying that walking from the metro to there was pretty shady. There were a lot of prostitutes along the street that approached us on this route and also a lot of guys that looked as if they would rather not have us in their neighborhood. Fortunately nothing bad happened, but I was really astounded at how quick the friendly city center just turned into an unpredictable shady area of town. I would recommend this restaurant if you don’t mind walking through a bad neighborhood to get there. [more] |
