There was one other budget option that I definitely remember seeing a number of times on the internet and this was the City Waters which offered self catering units. I took a look at the rooms, and although they were just as spacious as they were indicated to be on the website, they seemed to be more intended for families, as they contained a kitchen and other facilities such as extra bunk beds that you would expect to see in an apartment or house as opposed to a hotel. The rates were very reasonable, but for a little more I felt that a hotel room proper was better for me. However for a family these did look to be quite a bargain, since trying to get a large family suite in a hotel is a very difficult thing to do on a budget. [more] |
