Quaint hotel in Ronda Old Town
Most hotels in Ronda are found in the less interesting new part of the town, but Alavera de los Banos is a real gem next to the Arab baths and just down the road from the Arab Bridge. It is tucked out of the way but within an easy walk of the centre of Ronda.
The hotel has been decorated in an Arabic/Morrocan style and has small but lovely rooms. The communal space, which is a restaurant and seating area, has a nice cozy feel with books and games on offer. Plus, there is a gorgeous little walled garden with a tiny pool and secluded seating areas. It isn’t a cheap option, but I would highly recommend it and I’ve heard that the restaurant is excellent too. Visit www.andalucia.com/alavera or call 952 879 143 for more information. [more ]
