Latin school in the Kalandgasse
Just as interesting as the Judengasse in Worms, Kalandgasse is pretty well-known in town and is one of the most visited places in Celle. It probably doesn’t look that special at first, but at night this is one romantic and quite road. In all sightseeing tour programs you can always find this Kalandgasse as one of the tourist points and you will be visiting the Latin School, built in 1602 with beautiful wood carvings. I don’t know for sure about its history and why the school was built on this small and quite street right in the centre of Celle like it was, but I know one thing that this is one of a must-see places in this beautiful city.
