Crussh on 27 Kensington High Street is one of the best juice- and smoothie bars in London. Crussh has several branches in London, but this one in Kensington (near High Street Kensington LU) has, in my opinion, the best offer and the friendliest staff. They often play great music and the furnishing is really nice and cozy as well.
Their smoothies are absolutely delicious. My favourites are Berry Blast (with raspberries, blueberries, banana and apple juice) and Breakfast Smoothie (with banana, Crussh natural muesli, honey, skimmed milk and wheatgerm booster. A medium size cost £3. Other good smothies are Peach Passion, Mango Madness, Blueberry Hill and Good Morning. I’m sure you will find someone in your taste. Or choose one of the juices with ingredients such as celery, carrot, spinach, beetroot and kiwi. I have never tried them, but they are definitely nutritious.
Secondly, Crussh does have a lot to offer whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Aside from smoothies and juices, Crussh also serves breakfast (organic porridge is highly recommended), sandwiches, soups, salads, wraps, sushi wraps and health pots. The veggie Shiitake Mushroom Sushi Wrap for £3.50 is really good and the Super Foods health pot for £1.65 (with quinoa, cashew nuts, pumpkin seeds, chickpeas, tofu, beetroot sprouts, sesame oil…) is terrific.
Crussh has a sign (V, WF, DF, GF, or O) for everything on the menu that’s vegetarian, wheat free, diary free, gluten free and organic which is perfect if you’re allergic or on a special diet.
Crussh in Kensington is open Monday to Friday 7.30am-6pm and Saturday to Sunday 10am-6pm. [more]
