Food with a view
This restaurant in the Gruene historical district is a must-try. I have never had a bad meal here, or bad service. If you dine on the outdoor deck, you have a stunning view overlooking the river, and even in the heat of the summer there's a nice breeze. The sandwiches are great for lunch, but prepare to eat a lot, because the portions are huge. Sourdough bread is my preference, but they also have white or wheat bread. I like the turkey sandwich best, but they're all good. The burgers are fantastic also, and the wurstburger is out of this world. You never have to wait long for service, and it's always done with a smile. Great place. [more] |
