As I mentioned on one of my postings on Pecs, another thing to do beside exploring downtown and checking the stores, museums, and restaurants, one should go to TV-torony, which literally means TV tower. Located on the Mecsek Mountain (sometimes also referred as Mecsek Hills), before you reach the tower, you will pass by a zoo, which is also another attraction to go to. I believe there isn’t public transport to go up there so you are required to ride on your own vehicle. From certain areas in Pecs, you can see the really up high tower (I think not so much from downtown, like on Kiraly Street, I don’t think it’s visible), and from the tower you definitely could see further down Pecs...
