Nice Fruit Soup at Kek Rozsa
Just behind the Jewish Synagogue in Dohanyi utca, Budapest, walk further like less than 5 minutes away, you will find a restaurant called Kek Rozsa. Located on Wesselenyi Street (Wesselenyi utca.) to be exact, the prices at this restaurant are not too bad to my opinion (although my aunt said it was a little steep) but the customers are required to pay in cash only. The first and last time my husband’ family took me there was last June of 2007. I think we ordered like summer and house special menus; both menus were nice; for the summer menu we were served with fruit soup, it was very lovely remembering outside were hot and inside was cool and cooler with the cold fruit soup; we were also given parfait with whipped cream and the salad was pretty alright. From the house special menu, I liked their pancake; it was with banana, some kind of cream and also whipped cream. I tasted my husband’s grilled goose liver, it was wonderful. For the summer choices, I think it was less than 2800 Forint, while for the house special menu it was something like less than 3500 Forint. [more] |
