Playtime At The Pavilion
Riverside Pavilion Park is a secluded little 5 acre park on the Halifax River in Port Orange, Florida. The park has picnic areas, playgrounds, walking trails and a facility building that is available for special events rental . Admission to the park is free. There are fishing piers available for public use, paved parking areas and bike racks. The Port Orange Chamber of Commerce is also located on this site and provides visitor information. I like the fact that this is a quiet, not heavily used park that is ideal place to take small children to play on a playground. It's right off the main drag in Port Orange on S. Ridgewood Avenue (US-1), just ½± mile north of its intersection with Dunlawton Avenue (SR 421) on the east side of S. Ridgewood Avenue. Contact 386-506-5853 for more info. [more] |
